Tutorial 002 – Groovy Techno from Scratch / with Third-Party Plugins

Description

In this tutorial, I reveal my full production process with nothing hidden—just as it happens in real time.

With 24 years of experience as a music store staff, an Ableton Certified Trainer, and a music school instructor, I share the techniques I’ve refined and the carefully selected plugins I’ve tested over the years. You’ll see how they are actually used throughout the workflow.

This session is focused entirely on in-the-box production—no hardware involved, only software. If you own the plugins listed (or decide to get them), you can fully recreate the session by loading the included Ableton Live project file. Of course, you are free to arrange, modify, and turn it into your own original track.

You’ll witness exactly how I create the deep and immersive sound that defines my music, and you’ll be able to achieve the same quality in your own work. What you gain here is the distilled essence of my 24-year career.

Compared to Tutorial 001, this session is about twice as long. That’s because I put great emphasis on sound design—rather than relying on presets, I carefully shape parameters from scratch. This is my true production process, shown uncut, with the same time and focus I invest when composing seriously.

In addition, you’ll also see the efficient workflows I developed as an Ableton Certified Trainer. These methods are designed to help you significantly level up your production skills.

I truly hope this tutorial inspires you and helps you create music that reflects your own unique vision.
