I recorded the entire process of creating a groovy techno track from scratch, using only the features bundled with Ableton Live Suite and focusing on the Operator synthesizer.

In addition, I’ve included the essential steps of mixing so that you can also gain solid mixdown skills while following along.

Mixing is one of the most important forms of artistic expression in music production—on the same level as sound design and melody creation—and it’s also a stage where many people tend to stumble.

However, as I also work as a mastering engineer, if you carefully watch and learn from the techniques shown in this video, you will naturally acquire the secrets to achieving a truly great mix.
These techniques are filled with insights that will allow you to shape your beautiful artistic expression without the need for a separate mixing process later on.
